A lab for CCNA 200-125 in Packet Tracer?

Some time ago I proposed a mockup that allows you to exercise all the technologies included in the CCNA 200-125 exam. This is also the mockup that I use to propose the labs included in the manuals that I have published for CCNA certification.
As I indicate in the manuals, for the purpose of preparing the certification exam this mockup can be assembled with both physical and virtualized devices (GNS3 or Eve-NG), as well as in the most widespread simulator that in my opinion is Packet Tracer. Since not everyone has the same experience in using these tools, I am writing this post to give some basic tips for assembling the model in Packet Tracer.

What routers to use?
In Packet Tracer the mockup can be developed using Cisco 2911 routers. In order to meet the requirements of these 4 routers, the Cisco 2911 routers in Packet Tracer have 3 GigabitEthernet interfaces (0/0, 0/1 and 0/2) and the possibility of incorporating a HWIC-2T module in the chassis to incorporate 2 serial interfaces.

In this way, using Cisco 2911 routers with a HWIC-2T module, all the requirements of the model can be covered since from the perspective of the Packet Tracer software it simulates an IOS 15.1 (4) M4 that is aligned with the requirement of the certification exam. .

How do we mount the authentication server?

To mount the authentication server we use the generic server included in the Packet Tracer terminal equipment options,
Once the server is installed, to have a RADIUS or TACACS + service it is necessary to open the device configuration, and select the "Services" tab.
In this tab, the menu on the left allows us to select the services to be activated. It is possible to use this server to mount TFTP, FTP, NTP, SYSLOG services on the network. In this case, what interests us is the AAA service.
Once the AAA menu has been selected, it is necessary to "turn on" the service by selecting the "On" option, and then the protocol to be used: RADIUS or TACACS +.

The rest of the configuration is already the subject of laboratory development. I hope these notes are helpful to those new to Packet Tracer who want to take advantage of it in preparing for the exam.
